当外来の治療対象としては、特に角膜潰瘍などを生じる重症アレルギー疾患である春季カタルやアトピー性角結膜炎の増殖型などがあります。これらの疾患に対しては外科的結膜乳頭切除や羊膜移植、免疫抑制剤を用いた治療を行い、良い効果を得ております。一方ドライアイやコンタクトレンズ装用に併発しているアレルギー性結膜炎については、ムチンとの関連を観察しながら防腐剤無しの点眼を用いて治療しております。また、食生活の指導によるアレルギー性結膜炎の治療も行っております。

In the allergy clinic, we examine and treat mainly patients with severe ocular allergies that are often complicated by corneal lesions. We have treated relatively successfully patients with proliferative vernal keratoconjunctivitis and atopic keratoconjunctivitis surgically with papillary resection and amniotic membrane transplantation, and medically using immunosuppressants. In allergic conjunctivitis observed in dry eye patients and contact lens users, we are examining changes in mucin while treating them with preservative-free eye drops. We are also providing guidance for their eating habits in order to alleviate allergic disease.
